Stoneware Announces the Immediate Availability of LanSchool 7.7.2

LanSchool classroom management now supports Windows 8, and remains committed to cross-platform support.

This release includes many new features but remains simple, reliable and easy-to-use, as teachers and tech coordinators have come to expect. LanSchool v7.7.2 now includes Windows 8 support, as well as improved iOS and Linux support.

With this release, LanSchool can manage students running Windows 8 in both Metro and Desktop interfaces, making it one of the first Classroom management solutions to have that capability.

LanSchool 7.7.2 contains a number of enhancements to the iOS Student app to allow iPads and iPhones to participate in Distance Teaching. Other improvements include iPhone 5 support, the ability to load class lists, and support for testing on iPads, iPhones and iPods.

The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of 2012 and in the coming weeks the Stoneware team will be fully integrated into Lenovo. The primary focus of this release was adding support for teachers running Mac OS 10.5, but also includes several new features for the Windows product. A new flexible subscription pricing model was introduced that allows the software to be leased for $199 per teacher per year and upgrade protection was increased to from one to three years.

Orem, Utah January 5th 2009 – LanSchool Technologies LLC, a leading provider of classroom management software, announced at Macworld that LanSchool v7.2 will support Apple Macs as students on January 26th, 2009.

With this new feature, LanSchool becomes one of the first classroom management vendors to support both PC and Macs as students. Most school districts have a mixture of both PCs and Macs in their schools. Now teachers and administrators will be able to monitor, demonstrate skills and remove distractions from students using both PCs and/or Macs from the same console.

LanSchool Technologies Backs Classroom Management Software With Unique Technical Support Policy

Orem , Utah January 24, 2007 -LanSchool Technologies, developer of classroom-management and training software, today announced a unique technical support policy. The "Zero Bug" technical support policy from LanSchool guarantees that if a customer has a problem with LanSchool products, which cannot be resolved over the telephone or via email, LanSchool will send a developer to a customer's site anywhere in the continental United States or Canada to resolve the issue in person.
